The Jewish Community Federation of Richmond is actively invested in the wellbeing of our entire Jewish community, and physical safety is a critical element to confidently engaging in Jewish life. Our community security is imperative for Jews to gather and celebrate together.

Security Initiatives cost our community $500,000 annually. Please help us continue to support and expand these programs.

Each gift to the Secure RVA campaign will be split 50/50; half for today’s needs and half to build a community security endowment.

Federation’s community security initiative is designed to provide Jewish institutions with the tools, training, and best practices to increase preparedness and develop vital procedures. We provide a single point of contact for critical incident coordination, information, and intelligence sharing, safety and security training, site visits, coordinated communications, event management, and strengthened relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
