About Hillel at VCU

Hillel at VCU is a newly incorporated organization that will begin serving students in the 2023-2024 school year. As the inaugural executive director, Joel Bond will lead the development of programming, education, and experiences for over 1,000 Jewish undergraduate students and over 300 graduate and professional students at VCU. Hillel at VCU aims to enhance Jewish campus life and foster a strong sense of community, diversity, and inclusion.

1. Programming and Experiences: Your support will enable us to organize engaging events, such as Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, cultural activities, and guest speakers, to create meaningful connections and enrich the Jewish student experience at VCU.
2. Education and Learning: We aim to provide educational opportunities that deepen students' understanding of Jewish traditions, history, and values. With your donation, we can offer classes, workshops, and discussion groups that promote intellectual growth and exploration of Jewish identity.
